Current Conditions & Prime Bites
Right now, the snook bite is strong along the mangrove edges, redfish are cruising the oyster bars at mid-tide, and early-morning tarpon roll just outside the passes—perfect for anglers chasing trophy fish. Our logs also show steady action on sheepshead during cooler months and colorful tropical fish like Spanish mackerel when the Gulf warms. Because we’re on the water almost every day, these reports reveal the best times to fish, spotlight trending local keywords like “spring shrimp hatch” and “summer bait pods,” and highlight the techniques we use to keep rods bending.
Every post links directly to our online calendar, making it simple to turn fresh intel into your own line-screaming memories. Redfish Reign: Exhilarating Inshore Action Unfolds in Naples, FL
What a great afternoon we had out on the water in Naples, Florida! Today, William Francis and his fishing buddy joined me for a 4-Hour Afternoon - Redfish Fishing Trip with Anchor Charters Of Naples. March is an excellent time for inshore fishing around these parts, as the warming waters bring the Redfish (also known as Red Drum) closer to the flats and mangroves, making them a prime target.
We launched the boat and got the lines in the water right away, fishing both heavy and light tackle rigs. It didn't take long before one of the rods doubled over—William was into a feisty Redfish that put up an awesome fight. He kept his cool and worked the fish expertly, and we soon had a beautiful Red Drum in the boat. Not long after, his buddy hooked into another Redfish, adding to our catch. The action stayed steady throughout the afternoon, with both anglers landing several more nice Reds.
The weather was on our side, with partly cloudy skies keeping things comfortable all day. The water conditions were excellent, allowing us to sight-fish and spot the Redfish tailing and cruising the shallows. Between the solid fishing and the great company, it was the perfect way to spend an afternoon on the water. There's just something special about chasing hard-fighting inshore species like Redfish, feeling the power of these fish as they make their runs.
If you're looking to experience the best inshore fishing that Naples, FL has to offer, I can't recommend the 4-Hour Afternoon - Redfish Fishing Trip enough. Whether you're an experienced angler or a first-timer, we'll make sure you have a blast out on the water. You never know what might be lurking in these flats and mangrove-lined waterways—Redfish, Snook, Tarpon, and more. So what are you waiting for? Book your trip with Anchor Charters Of Naples today and let's go catch some fish!
